Coeburn, Va.-Arthur O. Plaster, 69, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at his home, surrounded by his family.
A lifelong resident of Coeburn, he was worked as a repairman in the maintenance department for Dan Hall Mountain for over 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Mildred Plaster; siblings, Robert Lee Plaster, Kenneth Dale Plaster and Donna Meade.
Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Katherine “Lois” Plaster; daughters, Jodi Mason (Con) and Candi Porter (Brian), both of Coeburn; grandchildren, Roger Salyers III, Lauren Castle, Brandon McCoy, Madison Porter and Laken Mason; great grandchildren, Carys, Chloe, Jaycee, Hunter, Conner, Caleb, Layla, Carly and Cami; sisters, Linda McConnell (Mike), Norton, Va. and Hazel Little (Orbie) of North Carolina; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 30, 2021, at 6:00pm at the Riverview Pentecostal Church, 1173 Riverview Road, Coeburn VA 24230 with Rev. Mike Lawson officiating.
