Big Stone Gap, Va.-Blaine Allen Baker, 65, of the Olinger Community, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at his home.
Blaine was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, lived in Florida and North Carolina for most of his life, and had resided in Olinger for the past five years. He was a self-employed painter. He served in the U. S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Ray and Phyllis (Faulks) Baker.
Surviving are his long-time companion, Katherine Self, of the home; siblings, Danny Baker, Olinger, Ann Tullios, New Mexico, Candy Baker, Bobbie Jean Baker, Brian Baker, Nancy Kidd and Cheryl Baker, all of Florida, Billy Ray Baker, South Carolina and Vickie Clayton, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.
