Keokee, Va.-Cherie Ann Russell Adams, 45, born Aug. 9, 1976, went home to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 3, 2022. She was surrounded by family and loved ones. Cherie fought a long fight against pancreatic cancer.
She was a caring person and loved by all that knew her. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her father, Darrell Russell; maternal grandparents, Audrey and Jack Spears; paternal grandparents, Velma and Earl Russell; aunt, Evelyn McCracken; and uncles, Howard Russell, Gene Russell and Douglas Russell, who all had lived in Keokee.
Surviving are her husband, Jeffrey Adams; daughter, Destiny Adams; son, Eirik Seymour, both of Keokee; mother, Carolyn Russell, Keokee; sisters, Cheryl Bradford (Steven), and Lesley Walters (Kevin), both of Keokee; Ashley Hill (Justin Shuler) of Pennington Gap, Va.; nieces and nephews, Alexis Russell, Hunter Bradford, Gabriel Bradford, Ashton Young, Halei Walters and Jacklyn Bradford, all of Keokee; mother-in-law, Cathy Stallard, Kingsport, Tn.; sister-in-law,Lisa Bowman of Kingsport and her children, Casie and Cameron Bowman.
Services and a Celebration of Life Dinner, to be determined at a later date.
