Christina Lee Rogers Roop
December 19 ,1964 – June 21, 2024


Coeburn, Va./Big Stone Gap, Va.-Christina Lee Rogers Roop, cherished wife, mother, daughter, and sister passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024 at the age of 59.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Jason (Jake) Roop; her sons, Ryan Blagg of Big Stone Gap, Coy Roop (wife Sadra) of Pound, Cayse Roop of the home; her beloved mother, Mary Rogers; brother, William (Butch) Rogers, and sister, Sherry Lemberg, all of Big Stone Gap; as well as several nieces, nephews and loving family members.
Christina was preceded in death by her father, William Harold Rogers.
Christina had a passion for singing and found great joy in praise and worship. During her lengthy illness she found her greatest encouragement through sharing her unwavering faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with her family, friends, and community. As she often said “This isn’t a battle I’m losing, it’s a battle I’m winning”, she has now won her eternal victory. Well done, faithful servant.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, as this was one of her most loved charities.
A Celebration of Life will be held 6:00pm on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Valley View Church, 4964 Dickenson Hwy., Clintwood, Va..
