Big Stone Gap, Va.-Christopher Alan Terry, 55, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022, at his home.
He was born in Punta Gorda, Fla. and had lived in Virginia for most of his life. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin and Margaret (Ayers) Terry; and a sister, Sherry Hopson.
Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Alma (Lane) Terry; two brothers, Micah Terry of Florida and J. F. Terry of Mecklenburg County, Va.; sister, Julia Wagner (William), Rural Retreat, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:30am Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, at Powell Valley Memorial Gardens with William Wagner officiating. Military rites will be accorded. The family and friends will assemble at the cemetery by 11:20am for the graveside.
