Big Stone Gap/Wise, Va.-Danny C. Chandler, 64, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Johnson City Medical Center.
He was a graduate of Twin Springs High School in Nicklesville, Va. and was a coal miner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ocia (Begley) Chandler; brother, Billy Ray Chandler; and sister, Ada Smith.
Surviving are his children, Alexandra Franks (Luke Legg), Richmond, Va., Daniel Chandler, Wise, Va. and Jerri McPherson (Scott), Durham, NC; granddaughters, Trinity Parsons, Birdie Plummer, Joey Plummer and River McPherson; siblings, Linda Quillen (Roy), Barbara Collier (Wayne), Jerry Chandler (Pat), Elizabeth Bowman (Hurk), Kim Russell (Clayton), Karen Funderburg (Brian) and Ava Shuler (Jody); and several nieces and nephews.
