I have fought the good fight!

Big Stone Gap, VA - Donald A. Bowman, 71 years 27 days old, received his wings Wednesday August 18, 2021 & was reunited with his daughter Amy and other family in Heaven.
Donnie was born July 22, 1950 to Mae (Lambert) & John H. Bowman of St. Charles, VA.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Edna, of the home. Daughter: Bobbie Jo Bowman & her fiancé Lance Yeary (Big Stone Gap). Son: Michael & wife Leah (Big Stone Gap). Special Niece: Mary Byrnes of Australia. Two sisters: Loretta (Michigan) and Rosetta (Indiana). Several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
He leaves behind 5 precious grandchildren: Bryan Surgener (Woodway, VA), Alex Surgener (Jonesville, VA), Kade, Luke and Grace Bowman (Big Stone Gap, VA) and special granddaughter Maizie Presley (Knoxville, TN)
Each one of his Grandchildren were the love of his life, next to his wife and children. Each child put a twinkle in Pawpaw's beautiful brown eyes and joy in his big heart. He loved each one to the bottom of his heart.
In addition to his daughter, Amy, preceding him in death were his parents, several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
