Big Stone Gap, Va.-James Arthur Bass, 82, passed away late Friday, November 13, 2020, at Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, Tn.
He was a lifelong resident of Big Stone Gap and loved his visits to Bob’s Market in the Southern Section.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur C. and Ida (Mullins) Bass; two brothers, Clifford Wells and Charles Bass; and sisters, Carrie Woods, Juanita Chandler, Roberta Sessoms and Geraldine Flanary.
Surviving are his brother, Sam Bass (Betty), Big Stone Gap; sister, Lorene Jacobson (Robert), Dumfries, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were private.
