James Edward Rogers
Big Stone Gap, VA-James Edward Rogers, 58, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.
Born in Norton, VA, he resided in Big Stone Gap his entire life. He was Rick Chandler’s righthand man at Stamper’s Trailer Park in Big Stone Gap. He had a great relationship with the residents of the trailer park. Jamie, as he was affectionately known, had a big heart and would help anyone in need He loved his cat, Mossy. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and great uncle.
Jamie was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Mary (Adams) Rogers; sister, Denise Rogers; and his great nephew, Walker Vandergriff.
Surviving are two sisters, Myrtle Adams (Robert) and Venus Rogers, both of Big Stone Gap; nieces, Mindy Vandergriff (Dakota), Shelby Adams (Nick Seabright) and Madison Bond; great nieces and nephews, Summer Seabright, Wynter Seabright, Autumn Seabright, Phoenix Seabright, Zayne Seabright, Mylo Seabright and Denver Vandergriff.
