James Marco Morris
Jonesville, Va.-James Marco Morris, 67, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021, at Johnson City (Tn.) Medical Center.
He was born in Charlottesville, Va., lived in Florida, Tennessee, and had been a resident of Jonesville, Va. for the past five years. He was a horse trainer, by trade. He loved farming, landscaping, animals and fishing. Jim was known for his love of “wheeling and dealing” through bartering. Most of all, his love of his family was most important to him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Junior Morris, Sr.; two sisters, Liz Brown and Linda Perkins; and a brother, Randy Morris.
Surviving are his wife, Dianne Wright Morris; daughter, Melissa Ann Rogers (Adam), Jonesville, Va.; son, Cole Morris (Heather), Bristol, Tn.; grandchildren, Joseph, Cloi, Dakota James, David and Jerico; his mother, Gladys Morris, Lynchburg, Va.; sister, Betty Phillips (Dennis); brothers, Charlie Morris (Shirley), Ernest Morris, Jr. (Gayle) and Roger Morris (Cindy); and several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
