Keokee, Va.-Jennifer Robin Collier Tackett, 68, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Ky.
She was born in Appalachia, Va., raised in Keokee, Va., lived in Lexington, Ky. for a few years and had resided back in Keokee since 1976. She was a bank teller for Lee Bank & Trust in Pennington Gap, Va. She also worked at local Magic Mart stores. She was a member of the former Robbins Chapel United Methodist Church, where she was active for years in the United Methodist Women.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Shirley (Brown) Collier.
Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Bo Tackett; daughter, Libby Tackett, Keokee, Va.; two grandchildren, Cody Tackett and Willow Grace Tackett; brother, Alan Collier (Rhonda), Norton, Va.; two nephews, Aaron Collier (Shauna) and their daughter, Meredith, and Joe Collier.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00pm on Friday, April 8, 2022 at the St. Charles United Methodist Church, 339 Monarch Road, St. Charles, Va. 24282, with Pastor David Gibson officiating.
