Judy Elizabeth Bowen, 73, of Appalachia, VA went to be with her Lord in the early morning hours of Tuesday March 12th, 2024. Judy was a member of the Appalachia Pentecostal Church of Appalachia, VA.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Delmer and Marylynn Caudill and brother, Jackie Ray Caudill.
She is survived by one sister, Jean Metcalf & Bill Bickel; one brother, Delmer Caudill Jr. & wife Julia, and one sister-in-law, Karen Caudill. She is also survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Carl Bowen Sr.; one son, Carl Bowen Jr. & wife Vanessa; three daughters, Lisa Sneed & husband James, Amy Bates & husband John, and Jessica Daniel & husband Brett. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Loved ones will gather for a celebration of life Saturday March 16th at 1:00pm at the Appalachia Pentecostal Church (340 Oak St., Appalachia, VA 24216). Services will be officiated by Pastor Grayson Cothron & Reverend Brett Daniel.
Judy's family would like to extend sincere thanks to all those who have shown such love during this time. Special thanks to Gilliam Funeral Home & Crematory for their service and care of our precious loved one. Though no longer with us, Judy's spirit is at peace in the presence of her Savior and we look forward to the coming reunion day.
