Kevin Michael Phipps, 63 of Wise, Virginia, passed away on August 13, 2021 in Wise Virginia.
A private memorial service will be held 5pm Saturday September 18, 2021 at Davis Chapel Auxiliary Building in Coeburn, Virginia for close friends and family, with a private burial service to follow on September 19, 2021.
Kevin was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Florence Helena Wojciechowski Phipps and Columbus Phipps Jr. on November 23, 1958. He married Sandra Kay Cantrell Phipps in Pound Virginia. He worked as a Welder for many years. He was a proud veteran who served in the United States Army. Kevin was a loving Father and Husband who enjoyed spending time with family and many friends. He was always there to brighten the lives of others.
Kevin Phipps is preceded in death by his Wife (Sandra Kay Phipps) Mother (Florence Helena Phipps) and Father (Columbus Phipps Jr.) and his Brother (Kenneth Phipps.)
Kevin Phipps is survived by his Daughter Brittany Faith Mullins and her Husband Shelby Michael Mullins and his brother Brian Phipps and his sisters Judy Wise, Christine Meadows, and Karen Phipps Hodges. As well as many nieces and nephews and cousins.
