Big Stone Gap, Va.-Margaret Ann Sewell, 72, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Lonesome Pine Hospital.
She was born in Norton, Va., the daughter of the late, Homer and Dorothy Evelyn (Blanton) Gilliam. She lived most of her life in Bel Air, Md. She retired from the National Park Service, after 30 years of service. She was of Catholic faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Winfield E. Sewell; her sons, Brian L. Sewell and Michael A. Sewell; granddaughter, Abigail M. Sewell; and several sisters and brothers.
Surviving are her grandchildren, Johnathan Sewell, Caelan Sewell, Rebekah Sewell, Lydia Sewell, Megan Sewell, Bryan Sewell and Ellie Sewell; sister, Dorothy Kelly (Kenneth), Big Stone Gap; and several nieces and nephews.
