Norton, Va.-Martin Steven Wells, 65, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at his home.
“Marty,” as he was affectionately known, was born in Norton, lived in the Southeastern U. S. for many years and returned to Norton in 1989. He was a carpenter by trade. He was a Christian.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Milford Wells and Barbara (Smith) Bledsoe; and siblings, Barbie Bledsoe, Becky Wells, Dennis Wells, and an infant brother, Tommy Wells.
Surviving are his son, Tommy Wells of Norton, Va.; siblings, Debbie Lindsey of Norton and Michelle Hanst (Bill) of Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Wells requested cremation.
