Pennington Gap, Va.-Maverick Jackson “Lil Mav” Young, 2 days old, received his angel wings and went to be with Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Niswonger Children’s Hospital in Johnson City, Tn.
He is survived by his father, William Jackson Layne Young, III and his mother, Judy Rose “Rosey” Peak; sister, Lainey Perkins; paternal great grandmother, Jean Young; paternal great grandfather, Jerry Gibson; maternal grandparents, William and Patricia Peak; aunts and uncles, Brittany Creed, Cheyanne Mullins, William “Homer” Peak, Madison Young, Savannah Hall, Joshua Phipps, Josie Peak and Courtney Edds; and other extended family.
The family requested privacy during this difficult loss.
