In Loving Memory of Misti Doffermyer Hubbard
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Misti Doffermyer Hubbard, whose beautiful spirit touched countless lives. Misti was a woman with a heart of gold, a smile that could light up any room, and a compassion for those who were struggling. She lived her life with kindness, generosity, and an unwavering desire to help others, always putting the needs of those around her before her own.
Misti was the beloved daughter of Wanda Shelton and the late Joseph Doffermyer. She was a devoted and loving mother to Brandon Hubbard and his wife, Brittany, Josh Hubbard, and Kaitlyn (Sam)Hubbard, who was truly the light of her life. Becoming "Grandma" to her precious granddaughter, Ava Kay, was one of her greatest joys, and the love they shared was immeasurable.
Misti also shared a lifelong bond with Randy Hubbard, the father of their children. Though life brought its share of challenges, they remained the loves of each other's lives and were forever connected through the beautiful family they created together.
She is lovingly survived by her mother, Wanda Shelton; her children, Brandon (Brittany), Josh, and Katie; her cherished granddaughter, Ava Kay; her sisters, Amy (Allen), Brandi (Israel), and Christy (her special niece, Millie) her brothers, Jake (Christina) and Luke (Kayla); along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many extended family members and dear friends who were blessed to know her.
Helping others was never simply something Misti did—it was who she was. She had an incredible gift for making people feel loved, accepted, and valued. Whether offering a listening ear, a warm embrace, words of encouragement, or simply sharing her beautiful smile, she made the world a brighter place for everyone fortunate enough to know her. Misti was able to make anyone laugh with her amazing sense of humor.
Misti's life was tragically taken far too soon as a result of domestic violence. While her family mourns this unimaginable loss, they hope her story will become a source of strength for others. If her life and ultimate sacrifice encourage even one person to seek safety, find help, or escape an abusive situation, that would be a legacy that reflects the selfless and compassionate person Misti was.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to your favorite charity in Misti's memory, continuing the spirit of generosity and compassion that defined her life.
Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that Misti's love, kindness, laughter, and beautiful spirit will live on through her children, granddaughter, family, friends, and the countless lives she touched. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
