Wise, VA – Robin Gaye Dotson, 67, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at Norton Community Hospital, Norton, VA. She was born in Tucson, AZ, but lived most of her life in Wise, VA. She was a nurse at Heritage Hall Healthcare in Wise, VA for most of her career. She had most recently worked for PTI Transportation Co. She loved genealogy, sewing, making jewelry and Monopoly. Robin was of the Latter-day Saint faith, and was a loving mother, daughter, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Patrick and Betty Jane Eckrel Miller.
Robin is survived by her children, Brandy Mechel Church of Big Stone Gap, VA, Robert Patrick Honeycutt of Wise, VA and Casey Dotson of Wise, VA; grandchildren, Kala Meshell Moore (Alexandria) and Jasmine-Lynn Honeycutt and one great-grandson, Raylynn Jay Sexton.
Final arrangements will be private.
