Roy Cecil Baldwin, Sr

Appalachia, VA – Roy Cecil Baldwin, Sr., 66, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2020, at Wellmont Lonesome Pine Hospital.  He had worked as a mechanic his entire life. He loved working on and riding motorcycles. 

   He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Wilma Baldwin, his son, Roy Cecil Baldwin, Jr., and his brothers, Buddy Darnell and Carl Baldwin.

   Roy is survived by his wife, Roxanna Baldwin of the home; his daughters, Rachel (Doug) Davidson of Appalachia and Christine Lee (Shine) Dotson of Appalachia; brothers, Gene Baldwin of Texas and Teddy Ray Baldwin of Indiana; his brothers-in-law Robert Lovell (Kathy) of Erie, PA and William Lovell (Carolyn) of Appalachia; his grandchildren, Jody Davidson (Jennifer) and their children, Joana & Jaden, Harley Davidson, Kailey Davidson, Sebastian Davidson, Deseria Baldwin, Ariel Dotson, Allison DeLong, Sonny DeLong, Briley DeLong, Farrah Baldwin, Chase Baldwin and Corey Baldwin; his great-grandchildren, Ryan Tompkins, Dominic Lee Davidson, Mila Stanley, Amyah Stanley, Taylah Eads (Tater) and Bonnie Natalia Perez Rojas and several nieces and nephews.

   Graveside services will be conducted at American Legion Cemetery on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 11:00 am with Elder Carolyn Smith officiating. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery for the service.

   In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations sent to Gilliam Funeral Home to help with expenses.
