Sam Riley Huneycutt, 66, passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2025, after a lengthy illness.
Sam was born on December 12, 1958 in Appalachia, Va. and grew up in Appalachia. After high school, he worked for Westmoreland Coal Company.
Preceding Sam in death were his parents, William Huneycutt, Sr. and Billie June (Cochran) Huneycutt.
He is survived by his wife, Ginger; his son, Buster James “B.J.;” his sister, Hope Hart (David); and his brother, Bo Huneycutt.
As per his request, there will be no services.
