Richmond, Va.-Shannon Nicole Setzler 48, died February 3, 2022 in St Frances Hospital of Richmond, VA, as a result of the Covid -19 virus. She was a resident of the Cogbill Group Home in Richmond.
She attended Pomaria Elementary and Newberry High School and later attended and graduate of A.C. Flora High School in Columbia, South Carolina. Shannon enjoyed music, going out shopping, movies, dining out and being with her house mates.
Shannon is preceded in death by her father, Willard Green; her grandparents, Dr. and Mrs G. B Setzler, formerly of Pennington Gap, VA and Newberry, S.C.; stepfather, Machon Kirby of Big Stone Gap, VA.
Shannon is survived by her loving mother Mary Setzler Kirby of Big Stone Gap, VA.
A service and burial will be held in the Pomaria Lutheran Church Cemetery in Pomaria, South Carolina in the spring. No date has been chosen as of yet.
