Stefanie Christin Brummitt, 38, of Mechanicsville, MD, passed away unexpectedly on June 2, 2026.
Her true love in her life were her boys, Brandon and Abel. She lived for them and believed they are the greatest gift God has ever given her. Her boys will forever be her greatest legacy. She will be remembered for her huge heart of love, her playful spirit, and the joy she brought to her family. Stefanie was taken from us far too soon, she left us unexpectedly. Grieving her sudden departure has left an unimaginable pain, and a void in our hearts forever, but we will take comfort in the beautiful memories we shared.
Stefanie is survived by her two sons, Brandon and Abel Brummitt; her parents, Tina Curtin (Abel) and Michael Brummitt; her stepfather, Thomas Curtin; her sister, Elizabeth Wilmoth (Brummitt); her brother-in-law, Brent Wilmoth; her nephews, Bryce and Dylan Wilmoth; and her lifetime partner, Matthew Hall.
A private viewing will be held at 11:30 a.m., Monday June 8, 2026 at Gilliam Funeral Home in Big Stone Gap, VA. Her final resting place will be at Powell Valley Memorial Gardens in Big Stone Gap at 1 p.m.
