Big Stone Gap, VA-Thomas B. Rider, 77, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Lonesome Pine Hospital.
He was born in Broadview Heights, Ohio. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era, and was a noted sharpshooter of the rifle and an expert with a pistol. He was retired from the manufacturing industry. He was a member of the Appalachia Pentecostal Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess N. and Bertha N. (Minick) Rider; a step daughter, Cheryl Wearsch; and his brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Rider; children, Marty Eubanks (Tim), Big Stone Gap, Tom Rider, Loraine, OH, Dawn Ashby (Jim), Loraine, OH, and Ray Wearsch, Texas City, Tx.; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A celebration of life gathering will be held at Martha Rider’s home Monday, September 6, 2021. You may contact the family for times.
