Jonesville, Va.-Valerie Ann Trotta, 64, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2023, at her home.
She was born in New Haven, CT, lived most of her life in North Branford, CT and had lived in Jonesville for nearly two years. She was a registered nurse and was presently working at the Duffield-Southwest Virginia Regional Jail. Valerie loved horses and dogs. She enjoyed baking and sharing cookies during the holiday season.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul John Trotta, Sr. and Ann Nancy (Belbusti) Trotta.
Surviving are her son, Jahi Duggins and his wife, Jesse, West Haven, CT; sister, Sandy Trotta and her husband, Eugene DeNeutte, Branford, CT; brother, Paul John Trotta, Jr. and his companion, Virginia Woods) of Clearwater, Fla.; and one niece and one nephew.
