Dryden, Va.-Vickie Lynn Lawson, 60, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at Bristol Regional Medical Center.
She was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. She had lived in Dryden since 1985. Vickie served as a RN/ICU nurse at Lonesome Pine Hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital for many years. She dedicated her life to serving others. She loved to raise a flower garden. Vickie was of Catholic faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Avery and Judy (Armstrong) Goforth.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph K. Lawson; her son, Joey Lawson, of the home; daughter, Melissa Wilson, Abingdon, Va.; two grandchildren, Justin and Madalyn Wilson; siblings, David Goforth (Brian Mine), Kendra Goforth, Jeff Goforth (Crystal), and Jennifer Goforth, all of Cleveland, Oh.; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved canine, “Bobo.”
